Indigenous leadership and ownership are shaping the future of energy in Canada. SPARK builds on that momentum, bringing people together to explore how innovation, investment, and partnership can support Indigenous prosperity, well-being, and Nation-building while contributing to shared prosperity and a more sustainable future for everyone.
Co-created by Mokwateh and Connect Partnership Group, SPARK is a two-day, Indigenous-led national summit. It welcomes First Nations, Métis, and Inuit leaders, communities, and businesses alongside energy companies, investors, and policymakers to share knowledge, understand one another's priorities, and explore opportunities of mutual benefit.
These conversations are at the heart of a growing SPARK community, with relationships and learning extending beyond the summit.

Land Acknowledgement
In the spirit of respect, reciprocity, and truth, we acknowledge Moh’kinsstis and Treaty 7 Territory, where SPARK gathers. We honour the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations of the Blackfoot Confederacy, as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina Nations. We also acknowledge that this territory is home to the Otipemisiwak Métis Nation in Alberta. We honour the enduring relationships that Indigenous Peoples hold with these lands and waters, recognizing the distinct histories, rights, and responsibilities that shape those relationships.
